 Creative Writing Activities:  

Inspiring a Love of Writing,

które odbędą się online w dniu 

19 kwietnia (poniedziałek) 2021 r. w godzinach 17.45-18.45

 

Brief summary of the workshop:

In this webinar, we’ll look at a variety of creative writing activities to stimulate creativity, creative thinking, and collaboration. We’ll explore short activities that focus on content over prescriptive grammar rules and provide writing aids such as templates or prompts to scaffold writing in order to help students overcome the fear of the blank page. The webinar will include examples of short creative writing, such as hermit crab essays and braided essays, as well as online journals that solicit student writing.

 

Warsztaty prowadzone będą w języku angielskim przez Willow Barnosky (Virtual English Language Fellow, Departament Stanu USA).

Willow Barnosky 

is an experienced TESL/TEFL professional. She has taught ESL and EFL in the United States, Japan, and South Korea in adult education, intensive language institutes, community college, and university contexts. 

She possesses an MA from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies  as well as a BA in Spanish from the University of Pittsburgh. Willow’s career to date includes a position as ESL specialist for the Pennsylvania Bureau of Adult Education, where she traveled the state providing curriculum and instruction workshops and trainings for adult and college ESL instructors. She has also worked at a university in Japan where she taught academic writing and at a language school in Korea teaching intensive English and Business English.  She ran a series of  seminars for  ESL teachers and delivered webinars for IATEFL Poland.
